Farming was the passion of our founder, the late David M. Consunji. It all began as a hobby when he planted coconut trees in Mindanao. In his desire to promote Philippine tropical fruits, he embarked on planting pomelos, durians, mangosteens, rambutans and longkong on large tracks of land.

Years later, he was harvesting the sweetest fruits in the Philippines, as they were picked by hand and ripened by nature. As these fruits are the byproduct of each Filipino farmer’s love and care put into every seed, our founder believed that all Filipinos should be given access to affordable, quality fruits. Sungee continues to exist today in order to fulfill his mission.
